Before Our Work - History

When J.B. Anderson first contacted Web Design Just For You, they already had two estimates in hand.  The first was for $6,000 and the second was for $18,000.  Eileen evaluated their website needs, looked at what the other web designers were going to provide them, and based on her standard pricing fees in 2019, gave them an estimate for $1,500 with a $40/mo hosting and updating fee for the same work the other estimates were promising.  J.B. Anderson met with Eileen and decided to give her the opportunity.

WEBSITE SERVICES FOR RIPON

Help Prospective Clients
Understand Your Expertise.

For a planning firm or another professional service business, the website needs to explain both what you do and why your experience is relevant. These services help put that information in order.

Explain Your Services

Turn a list of specialties into pages that explain who you help, the work you handle, and how a prospective client can begin a conversation.

Refresh an Established Firm

Review an established firm’s navigation, dated wording, and presentation. Retain useful experience and project material while making the site easier to follow.

Update People & Projects

Plan for changes to team biographies, contact details, services, and completed projects, with hosting and update responsibilities agreed on in advance.

Clarify Search Information

Use accurate service names, clear page titles, and relevant location details to describe your expertise consistently across the website.

Make Details Easy to Read

Make biographies, project descriptions, and contact options readable on a phone. Keep page structure and image sizes practical for visitors reviewing your firm.

Present Relevant Experience

Give project examples enough context to explain the work involved and your role. Pair them with approved photographs and relevant qualifications.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Ripon Website Design FAQs

Questions about proposals, professional-service content, and keeping a firm’s website useful over time.

What should a planning or professional-services firm include on its website?

Start with the services you provide, the people doing the work, relevant qualifications, examples of completed projects, and a clear contact route. The J.B. Anderson website is a local example to discuss when planning this kind of site. Your own pages should reflect the information prospective clients need before deciding to contact your firm.

How can a website explain technical services to new clients?

Lead with a plain-language explanation of the problem you help solve and the kinds of projects you handle. Then provide the technical detail a more experienced visitor may want. We can organize your material into useful sections, with your team reviewing the wording for accuracy.

Can you review a proposal alongside estimates we already have?

Yes. J.B. Anderson came to Eileen with two other estimates before choosing her for its 2019 website. We can review the proposed pages, content responsibilities, features, and ongoing services so you understand what each estimate includes. A useful comparison starts with the scope of work.

Do the 2019 prices in the J.B. Anderson story apply to a new project?

Those figures describe the estimate for that particular project in 2019. A new estimate needs to reflect your current pages, content, features, and support requirements. See services and prices for current information, then discuss the work your firm needs.

Can we add new staff profiles and project examples later?

Yes. We can plan a structure that accommodates new biographies and project entries. For an update, provide the approved wording, photographs, and details you want published. The maintenance arrangement will explain how updates are requested and what work is included.

Do we need all our wording ready before the first conversation?

No. Your current website, an outline of your services, and a few examples of the work you want to feature are useful starting points. We can identify missing content and agree on who will supply or prepare it before setting the final project scope.
